If you’re the sort of person who refuses to indulge in festivals without the service of a trusty camper van, then Vantastival may be just for you. This event for campervan and scooter enthusiasts ties in a love of vintage motoring with a love of music, and is the first festival of its kind in Ireland. The family-oriented festival will take place at Dunany Estate in Co Louth over the May Bank Holiday weekend (April 30th-May 2nd).

Some of the many musical acts confirmed for the three- stages include Jack L, Mick Flannery, Jinx Lennon, Fred, The Ambience Affair, David Geraghty, Kíla, Sanzkrit and Dublin City Ramblers. There will be childrens activities, a food and craft fair, swing dancing, a holistic healing area and workshops and trade stalls for motor enthusiasts.

Those travelling by Shank’s Pony can pitch their tent in one of two campsites. There won’t be a bar on site, however; non-driving patrons are advised to bring their own beverage of choice. vantastival.com
