Hewlett Packard (HP) and Vodafone Ireland are launching a new promotion that will see a Vodafone Mobile Connect 3G datacard bundled with every HP commercial laptop, Vodafone Ireland said yesterday. Sharptext has been announced as the distributor for the promotion.
"Increased mobility is key to raising worker productivity and we are dedicated to offering a range of business solutions to help companies achieve this goal," Martin Cullen, HP Ireland, said yesterday. The promotion would be available across the entire range of HP laptops and not just top tier models, he added.
"The depth of choice will enable companies find the best business 'fit' in terms of costs and capabilities, thereby providing the optimal return on business investment."
Paddy Collins, head of solutions, Vodafone Ireland, said the promotion would enable workers to truly experience mobile working.
"With the Irish workforce becoming more mobile, the traditional concept of the office is changing as people need access to information from a variety of locationsThese devices will give users access to Vodafone's high-speed wireless data network, providing them with access to e-mail, internet and file servers through the Vodafone mobile network, any time, any place."
