Senior management's ability to communicate is the best indicator of its overall performance, a conference on training and development was told in Dublin yesterday.

Dr Andrew Kakabadse, professor of management at Cranfield School of Management in Britain, said that organisations with good communication and human relations were more likely to do well than those experiencing tension and disagreement.
