The authorities having endorsed a plan to temporarily legalise prostitution by setting up a "red light district" close to the circuit.

But the permission is valid only for the three days of the competition at the Hungaroring race track near the village of Mogyorod, some 15km (nine miles) east of Budapest, said local notary Agnes Hangodi.
