Mount Sion collected their 30th Waterford senior hurling championship title with a an 18-point win in a disappointing decider at Dungarvan yesterday.
The winners held a 2-7 to 0-9 interval lead despite playing against a strong wind, with Barry Browne scoring goals in the 18th and 27th minutes.
In the second half Mount Sion restricted Ballyduff to one score, which came in the final minute.
Ken McGrath goaled from a free six minutes into the second half to give his side a nine-point lead and kill off Ballyduff hopes.
