Sir, The appalling discovery of the body of Marilyn Rynn reinforces once again that women are more likely than men to be victims of rape, murder and assault. The safety of women is constantly under threat we walk the streets in fear.
I call on Minister Ruairi Quinn to provide more Budget resources for organisations such as the Rape Crisis Centres, Women's Aid and Victim Support, who highlight this serious problem on an ongoing basis and offer the very necessary support to victims.
