In particular, your correspondent Mary Fitzgerald writes with clarity and fluency, distilling often complex information into readily accessible and always interesting articles.

I note also your report today (June 16th) that even the moderate clerical body in Iran is called “the Association of Combatant Clergy”. Charles Haughey’s dealings with the Conference of Major Religious Superiors comes to mind. – Yours, etc,

Madam, – What? No mass protests or rallies outside the Iranian embassy in Dublin?

Or are these displays of public outrage over the disenfranchisement and oppression of a Muslim public reserved only for certain developed world countries? – Yours, etc,
