Sir. I write to congratulate all the winners of media awards, singling out, if I may. Padraig O Morain (Irish Times) and Ann Daly of Esperanza Productions (Esperanza Hope in Spanish) only because they are personally known to us over the years.
Their professional and sensitive work has done so much to highlight the misery, and promote understanding, of the difficulties of some of the most isolated human beings in this country. Both have been consistent in their reporting over the years, and have won the trust and admiration of people whom others choose to shun.
