Yogic fliers will not stand

London - Britain's Natural Law Party announced yesterday that it would not field candidates in the next election. The party, whose members practise yogic flying - a form of levitation described by cynics as bouncing up and down - and transcendental meditation, was founded in 1992. "Standing for elections means relying on the opinions of the people and we are not going to waste our time on that any more," the leader, Dr Geoffrey Clements, said.
