A 42-year-old woman was treated for shock following a petrol-bomb attack in east Belfast last night.

A 42-year-old woman was treated for shock following a petrol-bomb attack in east Belfast last night.

The attack happened on Templemore Avenue at 04.15am when a bottle filled with petrol was thrown at the front door of a house.

The woman, who was in the house at the time, was shocked but uninjured in the attack. Police are trying to establish a motive and have appealed to the public for information.
