The body of a woman, believed to be in her fifties, has been found on a beach in Co Kerry.
The woman's body was found washed ashore on Ladies Beach in Ballybunion late last night by a passer-by.
A Garda spokeswoman said they were still trying to establish the identity of the woman and the circumstances in which she died. A post mortem examination is due to be carried out on the body later today.
