The St Patrick’s Day carnival procession, with the theme “Legends, Myths and Stories”, will leave City Hall at noon.
A free concert takes place at Custom House Square at 1pm featuring X-Factor contestant Eoghan Quigg, Belfast-based Irish five-piece At First Light and percussionists Torann.

This year’s parade, the 106th in Galway, begins at 12.30pm on Lower Dominick Street.
More than 2,000 people are expected to participate in the parade this year, the theme of which is “A Celebration of the Sea”.
