Welsh company best in fringe

A theatre company based in Cardiff has for the second year in a row won the top Dublin Fringe Festival award

A theatre company based in Cardiff has for the second year in a row won the top Dublin Fringe Festival award. The one-man show Marriage of Convenience, featuring Gareth Power and presented by Theatre Y Byd, was named best production of the fringe. The company received £1,000 from sponsors Dublin Dry Gin. Also nominated were Big Bad Woolf by The Corn Exchange and Sixteen by Box Clever Theatre Company. Pyjamajazz, a jazz cabaret, won the sexiest show of the fringe award.
