An English woman who poisoned her husband with antifreeze, leaving him blind and deaf, has been jailed for 30 years.

Kate Knight was sentenced at Stafford Crown Court today for the attempted murder of Lee Knight, who also suffered brain damage and kidney failure.
The 28-year-old mother was remanded in custody last month after a jury at Stafford Crown Court found her guilty following a three-week trial.
Knight laced her husband's food with ethylene glycol bought from Tesco on their seventh wedding anniversary in April 2005.

The jury was told she stood to gain £130,000 from her husband's death after forging her partner's signature to take out two secret loans.
Mr Knight (37) survived despite spending 16 weeks in a coma.
