A man died yesterday following a road accident in Magherafelt, Co Derry. Mr Anthony McGuckan (53), of Meadowbank Drive, in the town, was struck by a car on Sunday night. An 83-year-old woman died yesterday when she was struck by a car on the Dunmanway-Bandon road in Co Cork.
