PHNOM PENH - Cambodian women are facing an epidemic of brutal spousal abuse in which more than a quarter of a million women one in 12 have received injuries, according to a study released yesterday. One in six women, or nearly 500,000, reported having suffered abuse of some kind, and half of them reported receiving physical injuries, according to the Project Against Domestic Violence.
