A student who was “trafficked” to Ireland has been charged over attacks in Temple Bar in Dublin last October during which a Dublin DJ sustained serious head injuries.

Nero Bobby Omoruyi (19), North Circular Road, Dublin, was charged under section four of the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Persons Act for “causing serious harm” to one man.

Judge William Early granted him bail but he must obey a curfew. A co-accused, Damilara Bammodu (18), an asylum seeker, the Poc Fada Hostel, Cobh, Co Cork, was remanded in custody with consent to bail. He will appear again at Cloverhill District Court on July 14th.
