CAIRO - A bus packed with Spanish tourists was struck head on by a truck in southern Egypt yesterday, injuring 54 people, many of them seriously. A truck hit the bus on the road between Aswan and Abu Simbel, 920 kms south of Cairo. Six Egyptians and 48 Spanish tourists were injured in the accident, including 12 very serious, police added. There was no news of the condition of the truck driver.
