Spanish police have arrested 121 people in the country's biggest operation against child pornography.

Police seized equipment containing millions of images, including some of the suspects' own family members, the Interior Ministry said today.

Working with police in Brazil, 800 Spanish police raided 210 homes across the country in an operation against a network swapping files, some showing images of an extreme nature, the ministry said.

Those arrested included pilots and taxi drivers and they ranged from old-age pensioners to minors. In two cases, suspects had abused their own family members, it said.
