Police in the North are investigating the stabbing of a man on his doorstep in the outskirts of Belfast.
The man and his wife were at home in the Colinmill area of Dunmurry when hs wife answered a knock on the door.
The caller asked to speak to the man. A short argument ensued when he came to the doorstep, and he was stabbed in the neck.
The man was rushed to hospital where his condition is described as stable.
