Police officers were attacked by a gang of stone-throwing youths as they arrested a man during a drugs raid in Armagh last night.
A quantity of cannabis and cocaine worth about €1,500 were discovered during a planned search of a property in the Mullacreevie area of the city yesterday evening.
Two men and a woman were arrested by the PSNI, although one man and the woman were later released.
During the search operation officers were attacked by a gang of youths who congregated in the area and began throwing stones. The situation calmed after officers met community representatives.
