Wet weather has forced officials at Sedgefield to abandon tomorrow's National meeting following an inspection this morning.
Clerk of the course James Hutchinson was left with no option with little chance of the track drying out in time for racing to take place.
He said: "The track is unraceable due to waterlogging in places. There is little prospect of that changing before tomorrow and there is further rain forecast".
Waterlogging has also forced the abandonment of tomorrow's fixture at Folkestone. Officials at the track made the decision after an inspection this morning.
"We've had to abandon," clerk of the course Chris Stickels said. "The course was waterlogged and unraceable yesterday and, although we only had another 2mm of rain overnight, there's no chance really of it being fit to race in time".
