A Dublin man who stole a heroin substitute from a pharmacy but was chased and held by the owner has been jailed for nine years. Graham Losty (23), of Rathoath Road, Cabra, brandished a knife and forced Mr Michael Dargan to hand over methadone and physeptone from his dispensary on December 17th, 1996.

Losty pleaded guilty in Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to the robbery and to robbery from Elmos shop on New Cabra Road, on November 27th, 1996.
