London - The British government said yesterday it planned to take a Manchester newspaper to court for publishing details about the whereabouts of the two boys who tortured and killed toddler James Bulger in 1993.

The Manchester Evening News had published a report including details on the location of James Bulger's killers Robert Thompson and Jon Venables, now both 18. Both have been freed and given new identities.
