BONN - Thousands of young German neo Nazis marched through Munich at the weekend, giving the Hitler salute and singing Nazi songs in support of the wartime German army. It was one of the biggest demonstrations by the extreme right in recent years.
The show of muscle, involving mainly skin heads in bomber jackets and boots, was aimed at countering assertions that ordinary German soldiers played a substantial role in the Holocaust.
