Madrid - The Russian government is ready to present the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty (CTBT) to the Duma (parliament) for ratification, the Foreign Minister, Mr Igor Ivanov, said in Madrid yesterday. After expressing regret that the US Senate last week rejected the global treaty banning nuclear tests, Mr Ivanov said his government was ready to request the passage of the treaty.
