Jakarta - Indonesian police fired warning shots into the air as Muslim rioters went on an anti-Christian rampage yesterday, setting fire to churches in the resort island of Lombok after a rally calling for peace turned violent.
President Abdurrahman Wahid, his government under attack for failing to end religious violence the predominately Muslim country, said he might revamp his young cabinet but ruled out a wholesale reshuffle.
