A man accused of murdering his grandmother and assaulting this father and uncle was sent for trial from Limerick District Court yesterday. Mr Declan Molumby (22), of St Ailbe's Terrace, Bohernanave, Thurles, Tipperary, is pleading not guilty to the murder of Ms Mary Molumby of Archerstown in Thurles on March 8th last.

He is also accused of assault, occasioning actual bodily harm his father, Patrick of St Ailbe's Terrace and of malicious wounding with intent to cause bodily harm to his uncle, Mr John Molumby on the same date.

He was returned for trial to the current sitting of the Central Criminal Court in Dublin.
