A 36-year-old Drogheda man charged with aggravated sexual assault on a 23-year-old man has been sent forward for trial in Dublin. The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, faces two charges of aggravated sexual assault on the younger man. The offences are alleged to have occurred in Dungarvan, Co Waterford, on July 28th-29th last year.
In Drogheda District Court yesterday Judge Flann Brennan sent him forward to the next sitting of the Central Criminal Court in Dublin on his own bond of £1,000.
