Man's body recovered from River Liffey

The body of man, said to be in his 50s, has been recovered from the River Liffey in Dublin.

The body of man, said to be in his 50s, has been recovered from the River Liffey in Dublin.

Rescue services took the man's body from the water at Eden Quay in the city centre shortly after 11pm last night.

The body was then removed to St James's Hospital where a post mortem examination will take place.

A Garda spokesman said they were not treating the death as suspicious.
