A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Rachel Moran (21) who disappeared near her home in Hull on New Year's Day.
Mr Michael Little (22), from Hull, was remanded in custody to appear at the city's Crown Court on February 7th.
Mr Little, who appeared at the city's magistrates court today, spoke only to confirm his name, age and address.
Ms Moran's body was discovered on Tuesday in the cupboard of a house near the flat she shared with her boyfriend. She vanished after leaving her parents' house early on January 1st to walk the short distance home.

A second man, aged 23, also arrested in connection with Ms Moran's murder, has been released on police bail pending inquiries, the spokeswoman said.
