A Co Kildare businessman has been jailed for three years by Mr Justice Herbert for raping a then 17-year-old woman in 1999 after they had been drinking and smoking cannabis. Joseph Kemmy (53), of Moorefield Drive, Newbridge, was convicted of raping and sexually assaulting the woman at his home on September 23rd, 1999.
