A man has been arrested in connection with an attempted cash-in-transit robbery yesterday morning.
The incident happened at Ashtown Grove Post Office in north Dublin. A shot was fired but no one was injured.
The man in his mid 30s is being held at Cabra Garda station under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
