A man died today after the car he was travelling in crashed during a police chase in west Belfast.
The man (25) was the passenger in one of two cars attempting to evade officers on the Glenside Road in Hannastown at around 1.50am. The driver of the car, also aged 25, was arrested.
The PSNI said one of the two cars had rammed a police vehicle on Rock Road a few minutes before the crash.
The Northern Ireland Police Ombudsman has been called in to investigate the incident.
