Gardai in Tipperary have launched an investigation after a man in his twenties died following a stabbing incident in Nenagh in the early hours of this morning
Gardaí were called to an apartment in Summerhill after a 29-year-old man was stabbed a number times.
He died at the scene.
A post mortem examination will be carried out at the Mid Western Regional Hospital in Limerick later today.
Garda forensic experts are carrying out an examination of the scene this afternoon.
