A man and a woman died following a house fire in Co Cork early this morning.
The man, believed to be in his 40s, and the woman in her 80s, have not yet been identified. However, it is believed they are mother and son.
The fire occurred in Dunmanway, in West Cork.
The alarm was raised at 7.30 a.m. and gardaí and fire fighters attended the scene. The house is being examined by the emergency services but a Garda spokeswoman said there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
