Gardaí in Swords are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of a man who went missing from a nursing home this evening.
John Boland (76) went missing from his nursing home at Nevinstown Lane, Swords at 7pm.
A garda spokesman said Mr Boland is suffering from Alzheimers Disease and is described as being 5 feet 10 inches tall, of stocky build, with grey hair and glasses.
When last seen he was wearing a red jumper, brown cords and a beige anorak.
