A SEARCH has begun in Co Kildare for the body of a Dublin man believed to have been killed by two drug dealers nine months ago.

Mr R.J. Judge and Mr Mark Dwyer, both shot dead in Dublin last December, are believed to have killed William "Jock" Corbally, a minor figure in the Dublin criminal underworld after a dispute. The two men are thought to have beaten Mr Corbally to death in a field near Baldonnel, Co Dublin, and to have buried his body.

Yesterday a joint Garda/Army team of 80 people began a search of a wooded area close to Kill, Co Kildare. Previous searches concentrated around Baldonnel. The latest search, prompted by new information, is expected to last some days.

Corbally is thought to have been kidnapped in Finglas and taken by Judge, Dwyer and a third man to the area before he was killed. Judge, an extremely violent criminal nicknamed "The Psycho", was shot dead outside the Oak Tree bar in Finglas in early December. The body of Mark Dwyer was found in a field in Finglas a week later.
