Inquests into the recent violent deaths of three Dublin men were opened and adjourned at Dublin City Coroner's Court yesterday.

The Deputy State Pathologist, Dr Marie Cassidy, said Mr Michael Murphy (38), of Coultry Drive, Ballymun, died from a neck stab wound. He was found collapsed at Ivor Street, Stoneybatter, on March 21st.

The court heard Mr James O'Reilly (18), of Millbrook Avenue, Kilbarrack, died from a stab wound to the heart. He was attacked at Newbrook Avenue, Donaghmede, and then left at Carndonagh Drive, where he died on March 7th.

Mr Stephen O'Grady (26), of Chamber Street, died from a stab wound to the left side of the chest. Mr O'Grady was found lying in a pool of blood at Chamber Street, off Cook Street, early on February 27th.
