Ikea customers who bought a children’s high chair have been advised to return it to the furnishing giant’s Dublin store.

Ikea manager Garry Deakin said the firm had received no complaints from Irish customers about the Leopard childrens chair.

The high chair has been recalled following 11 faults reported worldwide.

The recall followed reports that locks securing the seat to the frame of the Leopard childrens high chair may break, which could result in children dropping through the frame.
