In Derry, a man in his 20s was shot in the leg after a group of masked men forced their way into his house.

In the Ardoyne area of Belfast, three men in their early 20s were taken from a house by a group of masked men. They were each shot on the leg, below the knee.

In Antrim, a 32-year-old man, his girlfriend and 11-week old daughter escapted injury when a man forced his way into their house brandishing a shotgun.

A shot was discharged, but the man fled when challenged by the occupant of the house. He sped off in a car, which was later found burnt out in the town. The gun was recovered at the house, the PSNI said.
