A man was killed and a woman injured in a collision between a car and a van last night near Bunratty, Co Clare. Gardai at Shannon said the names would not be released until later today.
The man aged 34 and father of two children is from Shannon. The woman, from Rathkeale, Co Limerick, is in hospital in Limerick.
