Explosive devices found in Limerick

Two explosive devices were discovered in Co Limerick early this morning.

Two explosive devices were discovered in Co Limerick early this morning.

The devices were found at an address in Ballywilliam, Rathkeale.

One device exploded at the house while the second was found outside the premises and made safe by an army bomb disposal team called in by gardaí.

The scene was declared safe at 9am.

The remains of the devices have been handed to gardaí.
