Police in Co Tyrone are investigating an explosion at an Orange hall.
It has been reported that the explosion yesterday evening caused substantial damage was caused to the roof and windows of the building in Pomery.
Police have appealed for anyone who was in the area last night or this morning to contact them.
Traditional Unionist Voice (TUV) MEP Jim Allister claimed the incident was part of a sectarian campaign by Republicans. “Orange Halls play a vital role in the community, particularly in rural areas. Many people, both in the Order and outside of it, will perceive this as an attack upon them.”
Sinn Féin MLA Michelle O’Neill called for a halt to attacks on the Orange Order and GAA clubs.
"This attack is wrong, and those behind this attack or indeed any other attacks on Orange halls need to think about their actions and the effect that they have on community relations. The simple fact is that whoever is behind such attacks can only be described as sectarian," she said.
"In recent months there have been attacks on Orange Halls and GAA clubs alike. Both are equally as wrong and need to be brought to a stop immediately."
