Belgrade -The former chief of Serbia's secret police, Mr Radomir Markovic, has been charged with helping plot the attempted murder of the opposition leader, Mr Vuk Draskovic, in 1999 and the murder of four opposition party staff, Radio B-92 said yesterday.
Mr Markovic, who was a close ally of former Yugoslav president, Mr Slobodan Milosevic, has been charged along with three other members of the secret police.
