A 28-year-old English national is in a serious condition in hospital after being assaulted in Dublin city over the weekend.
A row is believed to have started outside the Panama Bar on Bachelor's Walk, around midnight on Saturday in which the man suffered serious head injuries.
He is in the intensive care unit of the Mater Hospital. Gardai have appealed for any witnesses to the incident to contact them on (01) 6668000.
