TEAM FROM Griffith College, Dublin has won the annual Chartered Institute of Management Accountants College Management Competition, sponsored by AIB and ICL Ireland.

In all, 22 teams from universities and other third-level colleges took part, in the competition, which used computer simulation to test competitors' ability to manage a company in the marketplace.

The Griffith College team of Evan O'Reilly, Kevin O'Reilly, Simon MacDonald and David O'Neill are all students of the college's business studies faculty and will now go on to the National Management Championships in 1997.

The runners-up came from Dundalk RTC, with third place taken by a team from Sligo RTC.
