Dun Laoghaire port warning

A warning that Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin, could still become "an instrument for the pleasure and profit of a selfish minority" came from a leading maritime historian, Dr John de Courcy Ireland, last night launching his new book about the harbour. The Labour TD Mr Eamon Gilmore also expressed concern about the port's future and said the Coal Harbour and boatyard must remain public.
