The Irish Horseracing Authority (IHA) will announce
tomorrow if and when racemeetings can resume in Ireland.
A spokesperson for the IHA confirmed today that they will release a statement on Wednesday.
The IHA and Turf Club met with the Department of Agriculture`s Expert Advisory Group last Friday to discuss measures to prevent the spread of foot-and-mouth and the economic implications for the industry due to the suspension of racing since February 27th.
The Advisory Group considered the submissions over the weekend and are now to deliver their verdict to racing`s ruling bodies.
