London - More than four children in 10 in Britain claim to have been victims of bullying, according to a survey published yesterday. One in five said they had suffered bullying in the past six months.

The NOP Research Group poll of children aged between seven and 16 also showed that when young people told someone they had been bullied, in 22 per cent of cases nothing happened to those blamed.
